| When residential property is owned but not used, the owner would like to have someone to pay for its use. If another person had no residence but did have the resources to buy or rent the unused residence, that person would do so unless he wanted to be homeless. |
The problem we have if we want to make it possible for none to be hungry or homeless is how do we distribute monetary resources to the person who has none.
The solution is to provide a "Basic Income Guarantee" to ever person large enough to buy sufficient food, adequate shelter, and effective medical care. It is the simplest form of distribution of the essentials of life without imposing a "Bureau for Begging" on the citizens. It is justified by the Commonwealth system of the Human Community.
. Social Security & Medicare System worked well for solving this problem for most seniors. It could easily solve the problem for every citizen by creating a Basic Income for every citizen and distributing it through the Social Security system.
